Mike Sullivan

Mike Sullivan is the Founder of Texas Governmental Affairs, LLC and brings extensive experience in government, regulatory affairs, and public policy advocacy. His career spans senior roles in both the public and private sectors, providing clients with a disciplined, informed, and strategic approach to navigating complex governmental environments.

Mike has been responsible for federal, state, and local public policy and advocacy efforts, and regularly interfaces with elected officials, federal and state agencies, trade associations, economic development organizations, and community stakeholders.

Sullivan’s experience includes nine years as Director of Governmental Affairs for a Fortune 250 international automotive retailer (Group 1 Automotive), more than two consecutive decades in elected office, and leadership roles across numerous civic and community organizations. His work has involved direct engagement with state agencies, legislative staff, and legislative committees on regulatory compliance, policy development, and legislative initiatives. Sullivan has also been appointed to state boards, commissions, or task forces by three different Texas governors, underscoring a longstanding record of trusted public service.
